How much is the security deposit?

A $500 security deposit hold will be placed on your credit card during the rental period. This hold is released when you return the cart in good condition.

What is your cancellation policy?

You can cancel your booking free of charge up to 48 hours before your rental start time. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the start time are subject to a 50% cancellation fee. No-shows are charged the full rental amount.

How do I get to Water Island from St. Thomas?

What if I damage the golf cart during my rental?

Minor wear is expected. However, if there is damage beyond normal use, you will be charged for repairs. This is why we require a $500 security deposit. Please drive carefully and report any issues immediately.

Can I drive the golf cart on the beach?

No, golf carts are not permitted on the beaches. However, you can drive to beach access points and park nearby. Honeymoon Beach has designated parking areas.

What happens if the golf cart breaks down?

If you experience any mechanical issues, call us immediately at the number provided in your rental agreement. We will either provide roadside assistance or swap the cart for you.

Do the golf carts come with insurance?

Basic liability coverage is included with your rental. However, you are responsible for any damage to the cart.

How many passengers can fit in each golf cart?

We offer three sizes: 2-passenger golf carts (couples), 4-passenger golf carts (small families), and 6-passenger golf carts (large families or groups).

What is the difference between Day Rental and Term Rental?

Day Rental is for single-day use and must be returned by 6 PM the same day. Term Rental is for multiple consecutive days (2+ days) with flexible pickup and drop-off times within our operating hours. You MUST be staying on Water Island for the duration of your term rental.

What if I return the golf cart late?

Accepted Answer

Late returns may incur additional charges. Day rentals must be returned by 6:00 PM. Furthermore, late returns after 6:00 PM means you will have missed the last ferry to St. Thomas.

Are pets allowed in the golf carts?

Yes, well-behaved pets are allowed. Please keep them secured and clean up after them.
